Care Waamo Organization (Carwo) is a Social Development Organization, credible and registered non-governmental and not for profit, non-religious and non-political charitable organization that is committed to caring and helping vulnerable people living in Southern Somalia. The organization works through direct contact and interaction to the target people. We help people by providing capacity building and techniques that help people develop their skills and know-how. We also deliver materials and financial support to those in disparate situation and in disasters. The organization aims to achieve its goals through a comprehensive strategy of advocacy, awareness–building, monitoring, social development initiatives in order to promote democracy, human rights and making efforts to conflict resolution and peace building initiatives and to eliminate the persistent violence in the Horn of Africa region.
