Care Waamo Organization Social Development Organization (Carwo) is a credible and registered non-governmental and not for profit organization, non-religious and non-political charitable organization that is committed to caring and helping vulnerable people living in Southern Somalia.
Our objectives
Our objective is to save lives and create sustainable socio-economic development for vulnerable groups and needy communities in Somalia through humanitarian aid and development initiatives that alleviate poverty, improve living standards and help create positive social change. We aim to contribute awareness raising and opinions building in the societies we operate. We believe that our efforts will lead social change towards sustainable development.
Our methodology
The organization aims to achieve its goals through a comprehensive strategy of advocacy, awareness–building, monitoring, social development initiatives and communication networks. The organization works through direct contact and interaction to the target people. We use theater, folkdances and gatherings to attract the public. We help people by providing advice and techniques that help people develop their skills and know-how. We also deliver materials and financial help to those in disparate situation and disasters. We have a strong network at local and international partners. We insure that all funds provided are delivered to the target people.
